EcoCity benches and bins in Laviana, Asturias – 2026
Grup Fábregas has installed EcoCity benches and bins along a paved path in a natural setting near a watercourse in Laviana, Asturias. This route, frequently used by residents and visitors for walking and enjoying surroundings, now features several rest and waste collection points that enhance comfort along the route while helping to keep the environment clean and well maintained.
The Ecocity benches are made entirely from recycled plastic, a material known for its strength and its ability to withstand outdoor conditions without deteriorating. They incorporate UV protection to prevent damage from the sun and exposure and, as they do not rust or degrade easily, they require no maintenance.
The project is complemented by the installation of EcoCity bins, made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), ensuring excellent resistance to weather conditions and long-term durability. Their design includes a stainless-steel ring to hold the bag, making waste management easier for municipal services.
With a brown finish that replicates the appearance of wood, the benches and bins have been distributed along the path to achieve seamless integration with the natural surroundings.
The use of recycled materials reinforces the City Council’s commitment to sustainable, durable urban furniture solutions, adapted to the everyday use of public spaces.
