Urban furniture

to create a climate shelter

Along the promenade linking the town centre with the beach at Sant Andreu de Llavaneres, we have contributed to the transformation of a public space into a climate shelter. The project was designed to provide a comfortable resting place for residents and visitors walking to and from the beach, allowing them to enjoy a more pleasant environment during the hottest months of the year.

Making the most of the natural shade provided by the surrounding trees and palm trees, MODO08 benches and chairs have been installed alongside MINIM10 loungers, creating a series of inviting areas distributed along the promenade.

Both collections ccomplement each other perfectly thanks to the materials used in their manufacture. The treated tropical wood brings warmth and blends harmoniously with the landscape, while the steel structures provide the strength and durability required to withstand continuous use and the demanding conditions of a coastal environment.

With this project, a promenade that experiences a significant increase in visitors during the warmest months of the year has been enhaced with new spaces that encourage people to pause, relax and enjoy the surroundings. It is another example of how the urban furniture designed by Grup Fábregas helps create more liveable cities through solutions that improve climate comfort, without compromising on functionality, durability, or aesthetic integration.
