Ibiza bin in corten colour – Castelló d’Empúries, Girona – 2026
The historic centre of Castelló d’Empúries required a waste collection solution capable of integrating seamlessly into the surroundings without altering its heritage value. In a space with a strong architectural and cultural identity, every urban element must coexist with the environment, providing functionality without becoming a visual focal point.
To meet this need, we installed the IBIZA bin in a corten-colour finish, a choice defined by the architectural team to harmonise the furniture with the colour palette of the historic centre. The result is a discreet and coherent integration, where the bin fulfils its function without interfering with the aesthetics of the surroundings.
Made from polyethylene, the IBIZA bin offers high resistance to outdoor conditions and includes UV protection to preserve its appearance over time without maintenance. It has a capacity of 80 litres and an internal polyethylene liner, making empty tasks easier. The metal components are made from stainless steel, ensuring durability and resistance. It also incorporates a locking system and a top-mounted ashtray, adding functionality for everyday use.
Custom manufacturing
As a part of the project, the bins have been customized with the municipality's crest, reinforcing their integration and fostering a sense of belonging among residents and visitors.
