ECO OCEAN range in children’s play areas in Laviana, Asturias – 2026
The Laviana City Council has recently carried out improvements in several children's play areas across the municipality, with a clear objective: to invest in sustainable urban furniture solutions that reinforce the importance of moving towards more environmentally responsible models.
To reflect the project's commitment, the products selected have been the Maverick bench and the Ibiza bin from the ECO OCEAN collection.
These two products are made from thermoplastic derived from recovered marine plastic waste. One of the key advantages of this material is its high durability under intensive use, typical of public spaces with constant activity and high footfall. It also offers excellent resistance to environmental conditions such as humidity, rain, and strong UV exposure.
To complete the installation, all metal components are made from stainless steel. As this material does no trust or degrade easily, it provides maintenance-free solutions, a key benefit highly valued by municipal teams responsible for the upkeep of urban furniture.
The installation of this set of furniture enhances the functionality and comfort of the municipality’s children’s play areas, while also conveying a clear message of commitment to sustainability.
