Installation of Alvium Beach bins at Santa Pola beach (Alicante) – 2024
More and more people are joining the commitment to recycling and sustainability, and the Santa Pola Town Council has further supported this positive practice by installing our Alvium Beach bins along its beaches.
This initiative is part of the recent “Not here, here” campaign, which aims to raise awareness among bathers about the importance of recycling in the maritime environment.
The Alvium Beach bin is designed to be embedded in the sand on the beach, ensuring it stays securely in place, and its upper section is equipped with a seagull-proof system. In this way, waste can be deposited inside of it comfortably and with maximum safety.
A fun campaign to promote recycling
Mayor Loreto Serrano highlighted in an interview the importance of fun initiatives that encourage everyone to adopt good practices in separating the waste we generate on beaches.
The star of the original video is the Councillor for Cleaning, Encarni Ramírez, which interacts with bathers to ensure they correctly use the colour-coded bins for separating their waste.
ALVIUM BEACH bin, a further step towards sustainability
The design of the Alvium Beach bin reflects Fábregas’ ongoing commitment to producing urban furniture that is both sustainable and functional.
- Colour customisation. To make waste separation easier, the bin is available in yellow, blue, brown and green.
- Durable. Made from UV-protected polyethylene, the bin is resistant to corrosion caused by the salty and humid environment.
- Maintenance-free. The polyethylene manufacture prevents rusting and eliminates the need for additional maintenance.
- Large capacity. With a 120-litre capacity, the bin can handle the high volume of users during peak season.
With the introduction of the Alvium Beach bins, Santa Pola reaffirms its commitment to environmental care by choosing solutions that combine innovation, durability, and respect for the surroundings.
We are proud to be involved in projects that promote good practices, helping to create a cleaner and more sustainable future for everyone to enjoy.
