At Grup Fábregas, we continue to strengthen our commitment to a more sustainable urban environment. We take another step forward in our approach to responsible innovation with the launch of a new range of picnic tables made from recycled materials.
This collection represents the natural evolution of our existing wooden and steel tables, now adapted to meet the modern demands of cities, parks, and public spaces that prioritise durability, low maintenance, and environmental responsibility.
Two new models, one shared goal: sustainability and strength
We have developed two new versions of our well-known Picnic table, both designed to withstand the toughest conditions in outdoor public spaces, without compromising on aesthetics or functionality.
Made from WPC, a material composed of:
- W for Wood: reclaimed wood fibres or biomass
- P for Plastic: post-consumer recycled plastic
- C for Composite: A combination of the two materials
WPC closely resembles natural wood in appearance but offers a far superior resistance to wear, moisture, and environmental exposure. It is the perfect choice for settings seeking a balance between traditional looks and technical durability
This version is made entirely from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic. Its main strengths are high impact resistance, structural robustness and excellent performance against harsh weather -even in areas with strong sunlight, heavy rainfall, or high salinity.
Both models offer long service life and require no maintenance. They are fully aligned with the principles of the circular economy, making them cost-effective solutions in the medium and long term.
