Benches and sports zone in Chamberí, Madrid – 2024
Taking another step towards the expansion of green spaces in our country, the renovation of an old golf driving range in the Chamberí district of Madrid marks a significant addition. This project aims to transform the area into a large green and sports zone, reclaiming 48.000 m² for the local residents. The initiative not only introduces a green space to the district but also provides opportunities for sports activities that do not necessarily require specific facilities, along with spaces for recreational and cultural programs.
In this important transformation, Grup Fábregas has contributed by installing over 300 of our classic MODO C-106 benches. These benches feature supports made of ductile cast iron with armrests and six wooden slats made of Guinea wood, covering the entire surface of the new enclosure.
The design is highly versatile and seamlessly integrates into the urban and green landscape, making it ideal for installation on public thoroughfares. The materials used in its construction provide enhanced durability, particularly under adverse weather conditions.
